Mr. Kully was my Wood Shop Teacher in Sparta Jr. High School before he and I moved on to Sparta, High School. He moved on to Vice Principal and I moved on to being a Sophmore then Graduating in 1971 from Sparta High. He and I definitely had a unique relationship, I really liked him as a Wood Shop Teacher. I think he like me because I really loved Shop Class, but after we moved on to Sparta High, I became more of a problem for him and he for me because I did everything that I could do to skip classes and School and he did everything he could do to catch me. Then once I got a car and a parking permit at School, then he would clock me and all other driving students driving much too fast down the hill to school. So, he and I had many conversations with each other about my driving skills mostly "Speeding." I deep down really liked and Respected Mr. Kulley and I did deserve all the suspensions and talks we had about me becoming a better student! I spoke Kindly of him for all the past years and reminenced with many other students about Mr. Kulley, too! He Truly was a Very Good and Fair Man and I know he will be missed by so many Sparta High Students! May God Bless Mr. Kulley and Peace to his family who will miss him so very much!

Dear Pat, Diane, Brian and Steven,
I'm saddened to learn of Bob's passing. Despite not working directly together, I always had great respect for him. He was a true professional. Of course, I also have fond memories of all of you, too. My condolences to you and your families.
Sincerely,
Pete Massardo
