Country music star

Ketchum had three songs make it to No. 2 on the Billboard country charts with “Small Town Saturday Night,” “Hearts Are Gonna Roll,” and “Past the Point of Rescue.” He wrote the song “Stay Forever” with Benmont Tench of Tom Petty (1950 – 2017) and the Heartbreakers, which reached the country top ten in 1995. Ketchum collaborated with country greats Dolly Parton and Shelby Lynne. He also acted, appearing in the films “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Maverick.” Ketchum released nine albums for Curb Records and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1994.
