Gleason also had a role on “The Guiding Light” as Jane Horgan. Later in her career, Gleason had a recurring role on “Mom” as an AA member who spoke in meetings attended by the show’s stat, Allison Janney. Gleason appeared in more than 100 movies and TV shows, with film credits including “Troop Beverly Hills” (1989), “Basic Instinct” (1992), “Bruce Almighty” (2003), and “A Cinderella Story” (2004). On TV, she made appearances in shows including “Full House,” “Murphy Brown,” “Friends,” “Sex and the City,” and “Desperate Housewives.”
