Helen Knapp
December 26, 1929 - October 26, 2022
Pittsboro, North Carolina - Helen Mary Wrosz Knapp, died peacefully on Oct. 26, 2022. Born Dec. 26, 1929, the only child of Edward and Jane Wrosz, Helen graduated from Adelphi University and received her master's in education from William Paterson University. She was a lifelong educator, passionate pastelist, and avid traveler.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, John Knapp. She is survived by daughters, Jane Morgan of Crockett, TX and Andrea Judge of Murphy, NC; and her sons, John Knapp of Chandler, AZ and Jim Knapp of Apex, N.C.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Jan. 7, 1-3 pm, Galloway Ridge, 3000 Galloway Ridge, Pittsboro, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Orange County Animal Services, 1601 Eubanks Rd., Chapel Hill, NC 27516.

Although it was many years ago your Mother was a wonderful person full of life and intelligence and I am sorry to hear about her passing. May she be at peace and may God watch over her family.
