Dr. Brown,
You gave Augusta and Martinez the gift of a caring and well qualified animal hospital. I have moved many times since my living in Martinez. No one compares to you, Dr. Wilkes, and Dr, Sowell. I believe you are in heaven and I am positive that there are so many animals greeting you at the Rainbow Bridge and thanking you for your care. I know my cat, Buddy is there. I know my dog, Susie is there too. You tried to help both of these fur babies and so did Dr.Sowell and Dr.Wilkes. Your establishment meant a lot to my family. We don’t live in the area anymore, so we just learned that you had passed. I hope family knows that you are a hero. May your staff continue to honor your hard work and keep each fur baby safe regardless of their feelings about the owners. I hope keeping your legacy is top priority.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Dr. Brown. He had been our Vet since 1978 when we moved to Augusta. He provided care for our many animals with support for them and us. We will miss him greatly. Our sincere sympathies to his family and the hospital staff.

Dr. Brown was one of a kind! He was so gentle and caring with all our fur babies and with us parents too. It is still hard to believe that he wont be at MAH the next time we go. He was our vet for 33 years and I often told him he and Dr. Wilkes couldnt retire because what would happen to our precious pets!! He will be sorely missed. But it makes me smile to think of the joy that met him when he crossed the bridge and all the pets hed helped through the years were there to greet him! Sending much love and prayers to the Brown Family and to his MAH Family. Jeanne and Andy Jenkins

I just learned a Dr. Brown's passing today when I called his office to make an appointment for Charlie. He was a wonderful and kind man. He will be greatly missed all of his patients and their owners. Charlie loved to go visit Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown would love on him and pet him and make Charlie think he was the only patient he had.

I have been going to Dr. Brown for care of my mother's fur babies and mine since a few years after he opened his practice. His love and devotion to the fur babies was awesome and so was his kindness to the family. I thought he hung the moon and stars! MAH is the best in the CSRA because of him! He only employed the best and kindest of professionals. My sympathy goes out to his work and home family. God has taken him "OVER THE RAINBOW " with his beloved fur babies. Sincerely,

I was so saddened to hear the news of Dr. Grayson Brown's passing. I knew I wanted to be a vet as a child, but I have Dr. Brown to thank for making it possible. He gave me a chance at a job as an assistant, taught me the technical skills of veterinary medicine, and got me into vet school! I always thought he hung the moon and stars, and wanted to be just like him. I'm forever grateful to he and Nancy for their kindness to me. I especially want to extend my deepest sympathy to his wife Nancy, you are such an example to me of what a loving wife should be, a companion and friend. I am so very sorry, I know he was the light in your life! I also want to say to Dr. Jimmy Wilkes, I'm so sorry you have lost your dear friend.

I'm really going to miss Dr Brown and all those little private lessons he gave me during some of the vet visits with my pets over the last 18-19yrs. He always took his time and showed me how to properly clean my dogs ears, clean their wounds, clip their nails, showed me easy ways to go about giving them their meds and whatever else I asked about. The way he went on about explaining things made it really easy to understand what was going on with my pets health too. My heart goes out to his family and MAH during this time. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Deepest Sympathy to Nancy & the entire Brown family. We were blessed to have found Dr.Brown as our veternarian for Bulldogs. He was not only an extraordinary veterinarian but also an amazing mentor in owning and breeding Bulldogs. Through out the years he shared so much of his knowledge with me, and taught me how to correct legs with wraps and therapy that now I'm able to help rescues across the country fix dogs legs & will continue to do in his honor. I will cherish all the memories we have with him. He was always available for me & I could always could count on him. He will be missed greatly & never forgotten. Sending BIG Bulldog hugs and kisses to the entire Brown family.
